To all Medicare, and Medicare Replacement plan patients
Medicare does not pay for every service provided in this office, even some care that you or your healthcare provider have good reason to think you need. Medicare will only pay chiropractic physicians for spinal adjustments under certain diagnostic conditions. Many services provided by this office will never be covered by the current Medicare rules.
Service Estimated Co-Pay
Examination $225.00 New Patient Exam (1st visit fee)
$120.00 Follow Up Exam
Note: Medicare requires an initial examination for new patients and may require periodic follow up examinations
Active Care Visits $70.00 -$80.00 depending on phase and method of care
(This is your CoPay for non covered physical therapies, manual therapies, adjustments outside of the spine, modalities such as ultrasound & laser)
Maintenance Visit: $130.00 Full visit fee
Note: Medicare does not cover maintenance and preventive care under a chiropractic physician
The patient will be responsible for these charges at the time of service.
Medicare Supplement Insurance generally follows the above Medicare rules, there is a slight possibility that it could cover one or more of these charges. We will continue to process all your claims with Medicare. If, in the process, the Medicare Supplement pays us for charges already paid by the patient, the office will refund the patient as soon as a payment is detected.
